Aquarelle

Finally I do something more serious. ^^ I have done so much scraps/nonsence things lately, but so I met a friend ( Leonora86 ) and we started talking about aquarelle. While discussing the different methods, I felt more and more in the mood for giving it a try. It was such a long time ago, and after all, they are quite expensive, so I dont want to find out I bought them in vain.
I have no light table, so I could not copy the scrap/scetch directly to the aquarelle paper.
Sadly enough, the original scrap were soo far more promising than this terrible result. See "line art" here:[link]

I think this picture is wonderful, I love the coloring (very nice with the differents shades of brown), his hair, the eyes, his features, everything!
ehm no, I did it with photoshop too. But there is a link to the original in the text under the picture.
I like the butterflies too. ( after reading xxxHolic, you just have to ) I always see them as symbols od life, the changing. Something very beautiful and yet fridhtning and creepy. ( becasue I detest insects, and larvas )
